My Institute Experience
Picture of Angela Dadak
Continuing to be part of the Graduate School of Language and Educational Linguistics community today is refreshing and invigorating. Meeting at the TESOL convention, collaborating on projects across the US, sharing ideas, being inspired by Monterey Institute classmates and colleagues…the benefits continue long after graduation.

If you are an international student or client, you will need a visa to study in the United States. Once you have been admitted to your intensive language study program at the Monterey Institute and your finances have been secured for your course of study, we will send you a SEVIS I-20 form to apply for an F-1 Student Visa, or DS-2019 form to apply for a J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa.

If you are already in the United States on a different type of visa, you may be required to apply for a change of status. Please plan ahead and allow adequate time for the processing of your visa. You can find additional information about visas and immigration by clicking here.
